Legislate’s CEO named on Brummell's 2023 Ones to Watch list

For Summer 2023, Brummell listed Charles Brecque on the Ones to Watch in 2023 listing of young professionals in the City. Legislate, a legal tech startup based in London, is built on patented knowledge graph technology which makes contract data usable and searchable.

Charles Brecque commented on the recognition:

For Brummell’s Ones to Watch 2023, the expert judges nominated individuals based on their “drive, energy and entrepreneurial spirit” as well as celebrating achievements both in and outside of work. The judges included: Abisola Barber, Margarita Skarkou and Tahir Zafar.

Legislate’s achievements 

Some of Legislate’s most recent achievements include attending a Lawtech mission in Australia and adding over £3 million in a recent funding round.  

In May 2023, Legislate attended the Legal Innovation & Tech Fest in Sydney after being selected by the Department for Business and Trade.

In March 2023, Legislate announced it recently achieved £3.6 million in their latest funding round led by Parkwalk Advisors, Oxford Capital and several high-profile angel investors to build on UK sales and prepare for international expansion.
